We’re excited to share some status updates about our search for Ada’s next Executive Director. As most of you know, we launched the search in October and had a great response including candidates with a wide array of backgrounds and experiences. Our search committee has 5 members and includes team members from Ada’s board, staff and alum community. The committee has been working together since August to help define the job description, and prioritize the skills and experience we believe are most important to support Ada’s continued growth and impact.
The search committee has our first set of candidate interviews later this week. We are looking forward to exploring these initial conversations and helping narrow the pool to a group of semi-finalists by the end of November. We currently have the next round of interviews planned for the first week of December.
We know input from the Adie community is critical in helping us identify our next leader. We plan to hold final interviews for the full Ada staff and a separate meet and greet for the Alum community the afternoons of December 9 and December 11th We’ll be able to firm up plans over the next few weeks as candidates make their way through our interview process. We will publish more details as they become available, but if you are interested in having the chance to meet our finalists, please plan to hold time from 4:30 – 6 on both of those dates.
We are optimistic and excited about hiring our next leader and having them join the Ada team in the early part of the new year. Our Interim Executive Director, Christine Martin will remain on the team to help with orientation, training and a successful handoff for a few weeks after the start date.
If you have questions or comments, please feel free to share them with Christine and she will consolidate them and share them with our committee.
